The UPC finally came into force on 1 June 2023.

The UPC will provide a central enforcement court for patents for the contracting states, which do not include the UK. Validation in multiple countries will become cheaper but with some ties for example renewal must be for all countries for the future life of the patent. There are decisions to make and you may wish to opt out your EP patents to avoid central revocation. EPO Oppositions become more important to mitigate threats. We could go on but beyond this a friendly chat about your specific circumstances makes most sense.
